MP3 Tag Editor

To start the MP3-Tag Editor choose "Audio-CD" of the "New Compilation"-dialog that appears on startup of CDBurnerXP Pro. To reopen the dialog, click the new-button in toolbar.

Then go to File MP3-Tag Editor

At first, you have to select the folder containing your mp3-files. To do that, click on the "..."-button below ID3 v1 Tag Information. Then click the button "Scan folder" (="Rescan folder" on screenshot, because I already scanned folder for screenshot).

To edit the tag-information of a mp3-file, select it with a click in "MP3 File View".
Now you can change and add any information for ID3-Tag v2 and v3. On the right you get some common information about the mp3 file.
Note: 2 Channels = Stereo, 1 Channel = Mono. The file information on the screenshots meet the standard CD quality.

To copy ID3 v1 tag information to v2, just press the button "IDv1 to IDv2".

If you want to rename your file with ID3-tag information, activate "Rename File From Tag" and click the buttons <Artist>, <Title> and <Album>.
Renamed files can give you a better overview of your mp3 collection.

To apply all changes you made, click the button "Write MP3 Tag".
